Torque anchor

The anchor is designed to prevent the tubing hanger from turn-off and flight of during operation by a sucker-rod pump. The anchor compensates for the reactive torque created by friction between the screw pump rotor and stator, prevents the tubing suspension from unscrewing. It is installed under a screw pump in production columns D = 140, 146, 168 mm with different wall thicknesses.

The bearing bars are constantly under pressure and contact with the well casing wall due to helicoidal springs. The pumped oil flows through the central hollow body with attached to it cam washers.

Anchor is set to operate position by clockwise rotation of tubing string. At the same time, the anchor tongs make firm contact with the inner wall of the production string.
