Traverse

Traverses are metal structures used to secure and conduct power lines to create an insulating overhead gap and hold wires and other fittings. A traverse is fastened to a reinforced concrete post (pole) with square or circular clamps. Steel construction from high test metal covered with special anticorrosive bitumen coating BT-577 or zinc galvanized cold or hot zinc coating gives traverse higher strength, durability, resistance to temperature changes and frost, another aggressive external environment. It is actual because traverses are exploited outdoors.

Traverses TM are classified by size, carrying capacity, the number of connected conductors, weight. Traverses TM manufactured according to the design drawings or specific design documents of the customer and consist of the following elements:

- Metal angle

- Circle and strip

- Shackles

- Clamp and pins

All elements are reliably welded to each other, preventing disconnection during operation.
